As a trail runner I am constantly buying and testing out new gear. Between family adventures and training for 100 mile races, I am putting anywhere from 40 to 80 miles a week into these products so I know exactly when they start to fail and which ones are worth the price or not.
The price of all this “stuff” can add up quick. So, not only am I looking for the best quality but also the best value for my dollar. More often than not, you can find a much more affordable alternative with a bit of research. I rarely buy the most expensive product in any category. I look for the best value that will also get the job done.
So, if you are in the market for any of these products, hopefully my reviews below can help you make a decision. See you on the trails!
