Check Fuses

You already know that fuse is the main reason why you get the warning light. So, you need to check out the fuse related to the temp gauge light. 

  • First, open the vehicle hood and find the fuse box in the engine compartment.

Key Fob Battery Replace and Reprogram

Replace process:

Step 1: Get a new CR2032 battery for the wrangler. You need to use a large and small screwdriver to do the process.

Step 2: You will find an empty space on the key fob. Insert the screwdriver on it, push it up, and the above cover will go apart.

Step 3: After that, you will get a small notch around the battery. Insert the small screwdriver on it and push it up, and the battery will get out of the compartment.

Step 4: Now, put the new battery on it and put together the removed part. 

Reprogramming Process

Step 1: After replacing the key fob, sit inside your jeep wrangler, and close all the doors.

Step 2: Press the brake pedal and insert the key into the ignition.

Step 3: Turn the key into the ON position and wait for around 8 to 15 seconds. You will notice the security light will go ON for around 3 seconds.

Step 4: If the light is ON, it means your vehicle key is reprogrammed. Then, exit the vehicle and lock and unlock the vehicle. Hopefully, it will solve the red light blinking issue.
